Now you can instantly draw the golden sections, or other divine proportions, as an aid to composition. This plugin can draw fibonacci sequences such as the golden sections, golden spiral and the golden triangles. In addition it also can draw the harmonious triangles and the rule of thirds - based on composition through identity. The best way to use the plugin is to output the drawing to a transparent top layer you can move around for cropping.

This page features a growing set of (mostly free) Photoshop filters / plugins coded by myself. Most were developed because I found myself in need of something like this in the past for production. Others were developed because I foresee the need for them in the future. The remaining odd few were developed merely for the fun of it.

Harry's Filters 3 lets you choose the appropriate effect without hassling through different menus and dialogs. The main effect categories are called Color, Artistic, Gradients, Patterns, Warp, Noise, En/Decrypt, Other and Nature. They include filters for changing the image color or mood, for creating artistic effects, producing colorful gradients or impressive patterns, warping images and adding special noise effects to image.

Photomatix Pro is a stand-alone program that runs on Mac OS X and Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/Vista. The Tone Mapping tool is also available separately as a plugin compatible with Photoshop CS2.

Freeware Plugins

These are all freeware, and were built using Filtermeister, with Paint Shop Pro 8.10 as the host program - they should work without problems with any Windows graphics program that supports the Adobe Photoshop plugin architecture.
